After a career in Policing, leading in emergency planning, public order and training, Dan moved into the risk management industry, primarily crowded space events. He was Safety Officer, then Head of Operations at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol. He was also the lead Safety Officer for the Velodrome, Basketball Arena and BMX Arena at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Current clients include:-

Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College, heading a suite of crowd safety courses including CM3, Safety at Sports Venues and Spectator Safety Management.

Lead Assessor and IQA for the EPC Spectator Safety Management Diploma programme, which trains and accredits Safety Officers
